Went to Perak last weekend for a super, awesome, adventurous trip with 11 other FABULOUS peeps!

Everyone is expected to be at New Park Hotel to board the bus. But as usual Miss Massie is late. ;p
Got class lar.. and Miss Massie didn't ate dinner before class as she was so full of tiredness due to SYF Night prep. She was super hungry that she complained to the whole team once she met them. Lucky for her, there were kind souls who offered food to her.
9.45pm
The bus depart from New Park Hotel to 2nd Link Checkpt. They showed 'Tornado' in the bus. We weren't really interested in the show. So, Massie & her neighbours.. yana, mel, and eka chatted the whole trip to checkpt. Once there, the whole team who were so impressed with the new machines (dunno what it's called. A machine to scan the passport without any assistance) that all of them use this new technology. Selengers katakan. Back to the bus, most of them slept except for again a few of us at the back (including Shuan and Vic). Shuan and Vic were admiring the stars above while Yana and Massie were talking about the prev. episode of Incredible Tales and finally Massie watched Naruto courtesy of Pak Riff's iPod Video. Si yanie tu.. mesti tido sampai air liur meleleh.. zzzzzz....
Supper at Yong Peng stop. Yana got her cough syrup. Massie got her burger and fries.

Reached Ipoh town. Everybody looked tired, pale, sleepy..
Had a super early breakfast @ one of the coffeeshop. Played the 'Fruit' game.

Went to Excelsior Hotel and changed to our wet attires for the activities.

Ready for our fun activities!
1st Stop:
Caving @ Gua Tempurung.
It's not just a plain tour but we had to walk, climb, slide, squat and crawl. We went to the top of the cave, to the bottom of the cave which is flooded with water. How awesome is it? The view is stunning, not forgetting the guide's personal touch to add humour by naming the structures there. We were all helping each other as a team. I can see and hear everyone shouting " be careful! There's a rock in front!" or when we were sliding down.. the guys were down there before the girls and ensured our safety. Touching kan? ;p
HAHA! Saw vicky? He slipped! And the rest were just laughing at him. SELENGER! ;p
Too bad there's no photo taken when Shuan slipped before him...
Next on list:
Waterfall Abseil @ Ulu Geruntum Waterfalls.
Had a great lunch. Nasi Ayam + rambutan + durian. But being the typical Singaporeans, we bedal the durians before the rambutan! ;p
My legs were wobbly when I was at the top of the waterfalls.. (pls hor, I think most of us were feeling that way). And my slippery shoes (maybe anti-algae) were giving way all the time! It's so irritating. Next time, I will get proper booties!
But it was an awesome activity! After that, we were playing at the bottom of the waterfall. As mentioned by Yanie, it seems that Massie and Yana have never been to a waterfall before coz we were having so much fun playing at the water.

White Water Rafting @ Sungai Kampar.
We were extremely excited for this activity! We were divided into 3 grps. Proudly presenting my group members: Yana, Mel, Yoyo, Eka! Our instructor: Micky! Hey Micky You're so fun... haha.. we practical sang that to our instructor.
Nice chap from Sabah said " You all jangan buat I malu eh!" hehe.. We did really well and we didn't capsize at the double decker! He purposely capsize the boat twice and there was once when Eka didn't let go of Yoyo's lifevest and Yoyo didn't let go of mine.. Hampir tercekik.. hehe.. ;p
We did our tree jump! Vic and Shuan was trying to do their flips while the rest was just jumping becoz we were forced by our instructors.
We were ending our water journey till we capsized at one of the rapids. That was scary. Nobody ever wants to capsize at rapids. It's dangerous. We were trying to shift the boat as our boat were stucked at the rocks. Just as we tot we succeeded, the boat overturn on us. Mel and I were trapped under the boat. Can't get out. Tried to get out by moving to the sides but everywhere were rocks! I was swallowing water.. more water.. and I tot.. omg, Am I going to die? God, pls help me.
Finally we got out after the boat drags us down to the end of the rapids. Once surfaced from the water, I saw Mel. Mel look panicked. Everyone was panicked! Yoyo managed to get into the boat, Yana managed to grab Yanie's paddle when the current dragged her down. Eka managed to drag herself to one of the rock. The water current was strong. Water were splashing real hard on our faces. Think Micky dragged me to the boat and I caught hold of Yoyo's hand (or paddle?). Micky pulled me up to the boat. And jumped into water again. Getting Mel, Yana, and Eka.
You wanna know y Mel was panicked? Because she saw me surfaced without my specs. Yup, I lost my nerdy specs when we capsized. And she noes I'm practically blind without the aid of glasses.
Once my members were in the boat, the feeling was different. Can feel that everyone were still traumatised. I lost my specs but hey! I got extra specs in the van. Just have fun! I kept saying that to myself. My frens will guide me if needed to. I'm just glad that everyone's fine.
Micky cheered us up and we were having fun once again till the end. We took photos with the instructors and were on our way to the hotel. Yanie mentioned that they were laughing at us when they saw our boat stucked again earlier, but all of them panicked when they didn't see us surfaced soon after the capsize. Yana mentioned that they can see Micky cuak during the whole thing. One thing I have to say, Thank god and thank you Micky. Thanks to our intructor bcos I think he really takes care of our welfare. Rite pple? i'm sure my team members agree!
We had dinner somewhere near our hotel and Starbucks coffee at the mall. Played games, chatting till late at night. We printed a photo for Amelia and got her a card and an adorable photo frame. That is for her.. for being a wonderful host! And my team printed another photo for Micky too. Msg: Jangan marah, kalau tidak kena kahwin! That is his line. Should have written muackx beside Yoyo's name.. haha.. internal joke ya..

Time for breakfast. As usual late again. Whole body aching. Had breakfast @ McD. Got the Shrek : Donkey's cushion. So cute. Mel and Eka left first as they took a separate bus.

Board our bus. Got nagged by the bus driver for being late. We were there before 10am lor! hmmp...
On our way home......... yong peng for lunch.... woodlands checkpoint....
I really thank the peeps who went for the trip!
Yana, Mel, Yoyo, Eka, Vic, Shuan, Yanie, Ariff, Mariam, Fuzzy and Farhan. Some of us were strangers, now we are friends! ;p
Anyone planning for next trip? I'm eyeing for Kota Kinabalu, Sabah! ;p
