When we see the twinkling starlight,
the very star already disappeared.

While the light is taking a million light year traveling in the space,
the star itself dies leaving its own light.

It's like love which has disappeared when we realize how precious it is.

Ooh.. I like this song from 누구세요? (Noo-goo-se-yo?) = Who are you?

Dan Han Bun Nae Sarang Lyrics

세상에 태어나
Born into the world
처음으로 사랑한 사람
my first love
그대뿐이죠
is only you.
내 눈물은 아픔을
My tears that made pain
햇살속에 사라지게 한
disappear in the sunlight
사랑이였죠
was my love.
그대 눈빛에
Within your sight
기댈 수 있는
that I can lean on
하루 하루가 내 전부이니까
day by day is my everything.
사랑한다는 말
The word that I love you
아낌없이 하고 싶은 말
are words I want to say unsparingly.
그대숨소리 들릴 때마다
Everytime I hear your breath
내 가슴에 가득한 그 말
those words fill my heart.
같은 이름 가진
I want have to same name
같은 사람이 되어
to become the same person
심장하나로 나눠 숨 쉬는
who share breath with one heart
기적같은 사랑인 거죠
It's a love like a miracle.
두눈이 손길이
Both eyes and fingertips
나를 향해 닿을 때마다
pull them toward me
따뜻해지죠
Isn't it becoming warm?
난 무엇도 누구도
I have nothing to
부러울 것 없는 세상을
envy from anyone in the
가진거겠죠
world that I have.
그대곁에서 웃을 수 있는
That I can laugh beside you
순간순간이 내 삶이 되는걸
is moment by moment becoming my life.
사랑한다는 말
The words that I love you
아낌없이 하고 싶은 말
are word I want to say unsparingly.
그대숨소리 들릴 때마다
Everytime I hear your voice
내 가슴에 가득한 그 말
those words fill my heart.
같은 이름 가진
I want to have the same name
같은 사람이 되어
and become the same person
심장하나로 나눠 숨쉬는
so I can share breath with one heart
기적같은 사랑인 걸요
is a love like a miracle.
모자란 게 많아서
Because many things are lacking
부족한 게 많아서
because many things are not enough
내 맘은 늘 미안하지만
though my heart is sorry
다른 세상에 우리 다시 만나도
if we were to meet in another reality
내 사랑은 그대 뿐인 걸
my love will be only for you.
같은 날을 살고
I want to live the same days
같은 날에 함께 떠나는
and leave on the same day.
먼 훗날 우리 생각만 해도
Even when I think of us in the far future
행복해 나 눈물이 나죠
tears flow because I'm so happy
단 한번의 사랑
My only love
나 그대에게 약속 할께요
I will promise to you
그게 바로 내 사랑인 걸
That is my love.

I have the tendency to get sappy when I watch Korean dramas BUT I've not been doing so for a few months till I watched "Wedding". A 2005 drama which I caught their encore series in KBS World. I continued watching it in mysoju.

Synopsis:
"Wedding" is one of those rare stories that provide a glimpse into the "lived-happily-ever-after" life of a newlywed couple.

Se-na is the only daughter from a wealthy background. Because of her pampered upbringing, she believes that she can get anything she wants if she sets her heart to it. She meets Han Seung-Woo, a self-made diplomat, who is not-so-secretly in love with his childhood friend Yoon-su, currently in Japan with her fiance, Seung-Woo's colleague Jin-Hui. Se-na instantly falls in love with Seung-Woo, who asks her what she thinks the meaning of marriage is. In their subsequent marriage, their values are questioned as Se-na's complete trust in Seung-Woo shatters with the realization of Yoon-su's and Seung-Woo's relationship, and Seung-Woo's happiness in marriage shatters with Se-na's deepening mistrust and her own relationship with Jin-Hui.

I fell in love with the poem below. Se-na mesmorised and read it out when she proposed to Seun-Woo coz she noes that he like this poem (Well, he recite it again after they got married). Touching..

When the sunlight touches the ground, I miss you
When the shadow of the moonlight slowly climbs up, I miss you
When the dust finally settles down, I’d see you

Meeting in the deep night, I still can see your shadow
When the waves crash, I hear your voice
As everyone falls asleep in the midst of quiet forest, I hear your voice

No matter how far,
I’d be by your side
You’d be by my side
When the sun sets and the stars shine

Aah… If only you’re by my side

Touched? This poem was translated from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Hmm, if only....... *smack**smack*

Love Marriage aka Matchmaker's Lover

Simple storyline.

Cute people.

Humour injected.

So so sweet.

She is single. He is divorced. She is a couple manager matchmaking divorcees while he is a lawyer handling divorce cases. She is full of crazy romantic ideas for her clients while he know nuts about being romantic at all! She always mess up her work while he is the neat person who does well in his work. The story shows how they met, and realised that they love each other to little bits.. Simple story rite? But its the details of this drama that really makes it 1 of the great dramas in 2008.

Ooh.. i'm so mesmerised by the lead actor's role..of course.. his looks play a part too... i mean.. look at his eyes... haha.. i shall stop for now.. ;p

Usually in korean dramas, they will have conflicts or tragedies that hurts.. i mean you really feel the pain! OMG, it hurts kinda feeling. Well, its inevitable for a good story rite? One thing I really enjoyed about Love Marriage is that they do have conflicts but they don't show it in really really deep depth.. so it doesn't hurt me when compared to other dramas.

Well there's so many things I wanna write about it but you have to watch to LOVE it!

Watched 18 vs 29 last weekend.

Synopsis
This drama takes the audience back to the 1990s. The main character of the drama, Yoo Hye-chan, 29, reverts mentally to an 18-year-old girl after having a car accident. As she recovers her memory and the relationship with her husband, Kang Sang-yeong, she goes through many hilarious and heart-moving moments.
Hye-chan, who was a beauty queen in high school, marries her former classmate Kang Bong-man. In 2005, she turns 29. But after a fierce fight with her husband, she heads to court to file for divorce, unable to control her rage anymore. On her way to court, her car clashes with a truck, and as a result she develops amnesia. She only remembers herself as a senior high schooler, when she was sassy and outgoing, and popular with her peers. As her memory reverts to her adolescent years, she suddenly becomes crazy about the dance group “Seo Tae Ji and Kids,” which was popular with teenagers back in the ‘90s. While looking strong on the surface, deep inside she is soft-hearted and feeble. She likes Jane Campion’s movie “Piano” a lot. Although Kang Bong-man, nicknamed “Ice Prince,” is the ideal of every girl in Hye-chan’s school, she regards him as shallow. The guy she really likes is her senior, Jeong Shi-woo.
But in reality, Hye-chan’s husband is Kang Bong-man, whom she despised so much in high school. He changes his name to Kang Sang-yeong when he becomes an actor. In the latter part of the drama, Hye-chan recovers her memory and pursues her dream of becoming a film director. When Hye-chan loses her memory, Sang-yeong becomes preoccupied with mending their shattered relationship. He collects all the messages they had exchanged in the past to help her remember who he is. The replays of Hye-chan’s memories, which are presented in diverse ways, add to the drama’s tantalizing plot.

Masliana's Personality Test: Spontaneous Idealists

Spontaneous Idealists are creative, lively and open-minded persons. They are humorous and dispose of a contagious zest for life. Their enthusiasm and sparkling energy inspires others and sweeps them along. They enjoy being together with other people and often have an uncanny intuition for their motivations and potential. Spontaneous Idealists are masters of communication and very amusing and gifted entertainers. Fun and variety are guaranteed when they are around. However, they are sometimes somewhat too impulsive in dealing with others and can hurt people without really meaning to do so, due to their direct and sometimes critical nature. This personality type is a keen and alert observer; they miss nothing which is going on around them. In extreme cases, they tend to be oversensitive and exaggeratedly alert and are inwardly always ready to jump. Life for them is an exciting drama full of emotionality. However, they quickly become bored when things repeat themselves and too much detailed work and care is required. Their creativity, their imaginativeness and their originality become most noticeable when developing new projects and ideas - they then leave the meticulous implementation of the whole to others. On the whole, Spontaneous Idealists attach great value to their inner and outward independence and do not like accepting a subordinate role. They therefore have problems with hierarchies and authorities.

Is it true?
I have the same personality as Yanie though. Prob we should get Dr. Ahmad Zaki to test us like he did a year ago.. ahaks..

Yeay.. I finally catched up with Naruto Shippuuden episodes.. Gosh, I missed a lot of actions there. It's so exciting!

Well, will only noe how 'healthy' I am when I get my full report especially with the blood test they did. They extracted 2 tubes of it.. Reminds me that I have not donated blood for quite a while. Bloodbank smsed me to donate blood. Guess they are really short of blood. So, for all of u who are eligible to donate, please do so. God will bless u. ;p

Had a complimentary eye check-up organised by college last month. Thank god that my eyes are well except for being potek (blind without the aid of specs). Don't I feel lucky to go for all this complimentary? haha.. 3 cheers for college.

Aly's bday is coming up soon and I'm not sure what to buy for her.. Any suggestions? Her mum has specifically requested for educational items. Bleahs.. y don't I just get her revision books instead? haha..

Hey pple!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.. Luv ya peeps. ;p

Yana, I really enjoyed the Bali trip! haha... but I will definitely have to keep fit if I wanna go for this kinda trip again!

Details (before memory lapse)
Pple involved: Mas, Jo, Cint, Vic, Shuan, Tat

18 Dec 08:
Cleaned the house before I left for Cint's house. FYI, my family were not around from 10 to 20 Dec.. The only peeps at home were Kak Nita and myself.. I seriously missed mum and her food! For Kak Linda, she will never let Alyssa go on a long hols without her. For me, I will never let my mum go on a hols without me! I think i lose a tiny bit of fat without dinners at home.. haha...

Anyways, enuff blabbering.. I reached Cint's place @ 12am.. Thanks Cint for fetching me at AMK. ;p

19 Dec 08:
Cint was still packing her clothes.. haha.. from a small to a big luggage. haha.. Despite her big luggage, she has everything we need for a trip! luv her for that! ;p
Slept for prob 1 hour plus before leaving for the airport. Met the rest there...
I still remember Jo told me that the boys were scared that I would forget the air tickets. How cruel can they be? No trust... Boo hoo...

Had 2 breakfast that morning as we didn't noe Lion Air would provide breakfast.. haha...

Upon arrival @ Denpasar, we had lunch as Alam Puri Villa forgot to fetch us.. haiz.. No point waiting for about an hour without food rite...
But the driver did show an apologetic look, so I decided not to ruin our day.. hahaz... The gals took the master bedroom and we had a short break before we were off for our white water rafting..

It was fun! Took lotsa photos.. I was in the same team as Jo and Shuan. For Vic, it is not as exciting as Perak's water rafting we did years back.. For me, it is as enjoyable!

Thanks to Shuan's cam (waterproof and sturdy), we were able to take photos during our water rafting breaks! Nice scenery, waterfalls! I luv them. Our guides were great.. altho I think they are a bit open.. I think Jo and Cint noes what I mean. Haha...

I think our rafting distance is abt 10km? We managed to clean up since they have clean and decent bathrooms. We ate our early dinner (inclusive of package). Think it was abt 4 or 5 plus.. We then had to climb up all the way to the carpark! After dinner, then climb up.. definitely a gd exercise and shows how unfit I am!

I was unwell on the way back probably bcoz of the climb with a full stomach! And the journey back was a bit long ah.. I had to hold on to Vic to stable myself.. and thanks to Cint for massaging my head and the rest for their concern. Half hour later, I was back to normal! ;p
Watched a movie @ the gals' room. Slept @ ard 9pm.

20 Dec 08:
Rise and Shine @ 1.30am. Off to Mt Batur @ 2pm. Slept during the journey. Think it took abt 2hours. Cold and hungry for some! haha.. The journey started well with my good shoes (at least for me), a jacket, and a torch light and enthusiasm. For the first 1 hr walk, I tot that the journey was simple.. I can do this kinda trekking often. I was super wrong la...

No prob (self motivate..)..climb high.. higher.. and puffing.. puffing.. shit! I couldn't take it anymore. I tot "when are we reaching???" Madness... The girls had to be dragged up by the guides! But I am glad that I managed to climb up (with the help of others ;p). The view was magnificent. No regrets.. but I think I will never climb this mountain again. haha... and the guys were thinking of climbing higher ones! I must keep fit le..

Had breakfast while admiring the scenery. When the sun was up, we were amazed how far we walked and climbed up! We had a look @ the crater with steam rising up from it and we head down. Going down was my favourite! haha.. it was easy for me.. not sure y tho. ;p

Oh ya.. forgot to mention.. during the change of this season.. there are a lot of flies.. so those who were wearing black had a battalion of flies around them during the journey down. When we reach the carpark, we realised our car(black colour!) were "infested" with these flies! Ergh... it send a chill up my spine! But once we drive out of the area, the flies were gone..

Next stop, Hot spring.. Yeay! Shiok eh.. Soaked ourselves after a tiring morning.. Altho it was a long morning for us, it was only 10am when we reach the hot spring. Had a dip and massage.. the entry includes free set meal.. so we had our first lunch there.

Then we head to our second lunch which was included in our package with the agent. We really felt that our money was worth spent for this activity! Our lunch was at the top of a mountain i think.. cold~~ but nice place.. Food wasn't fantastic but i think its probably bcoz we were oredi full from the first lunch.

Slept during journey back to villa. Rested a while @ the villa (Cint and I had fun @ our plunge pool!) and went to Ubud Central around 7pm for dinner. We should have left earlier! We only managed to eat dinner and rush to our picking point for free shuttle to villa..
Dinner was at Wayan Restaurant.. Nice ambience, nice food, nice drink! ;p

21 Dec 08:
Had breakfast before we head to Kuta. We felt that our guide who brought us around during Mt Batur trek was great, so we engaged him to bring us to Kuta. Gede's his name.. Gede brought us to Kuta beach. Not fantastic to me.. Due to change of season again, there were dead fish.. lotsa dead fish along the beach. It was low tide then. We even had the crazy idea of bringing a few back to cook.. haha.. Went to check out hard rock. Nothing much.. so we went to check out the shops on the way to the Bali Bombing Monument. The gals separate ways with the guys.. different agendas.. haha.. Gals intention were to shop but there was nothing much to get.. we had a foot reflexology instead.. Yesterday's wasn't enuff! And this is even cheaper!

Jo bought some dvds.. ard $1 per dvd for our entertainment during the rest of the trip. After a tiring morning, we head back to the villa to pick up our take-away lunch and off to Candidasa! Had lunch in the car.. my seafood platter was pathetic ah!

The next villa we stayed was Villa Sasoon @ Candidasa. The villa is really really nice! The staff are also very very nice! The manager, Andre, went through details of our villa and prepared welcome drink. So nice... Anyway the 4 villas(each with 2 bedrooms, and outdoor showers!) are owned by an Australian. 11 Staff. Villa - nice deco, and well kept.. We had instant noodles (thanks Tat and Cint) for dinner and watched Space Chimps (courtesy of Jo).

22 Dec 08:
Woke up early. Checked out the beach with Vic. Had breakfast by the pool before our snorkelling activity @ Blue Lagoon. Great time snorkelling. I will always remember the time after our snorkel.. I need the toilet urgently and they had to stop the boat for me to pee in the sea! haha.. lucky it's our own glass bottom boat! Cindy, Shuan and tat joined me.. I wasn't the only urgent 1! We had lunch @ Kerti Restaurant in Padang Bay. Nice food! And cheap! ;p

Walked around the area and head back to villa. Jo, Cint, Shuan and I had a dip @ the pool.. Freshened up and had a great dinner in the villa! The staff cooked in our kitchen. We were famished.. the smell was good.. I really like the tomato soup! Yummy! The rest of the food was fantastic too! We had a birthday celebration for me and Vic. haha.. altho the cake was a surprise by the staff.. so touched... And I will always remember how crappy the guys can be.. their conversation abt annual sacrifice and all.. haha..

23 Dec 08:
All of us (except Tat) went for a hike @ a nearby hill around 6.30am. One of the staff brought us there. Watched the sun rise.. breathtaking view.. the sea.. the view from the top of the hill.. Lotsa monkeys and a few cows around.. Going down was an adventure! Zig zag.. zig zag.. walked through the village. Had breakfast and a dip in the pool again. This time round with Vic and Cint. Went for a body massage with Jo. Apparently it's Andre's spa. He gave us 10% disc. haha.. Andre's bro dropped Jo and I at a stall by the roadside.. Cheap and nice food. We walked all the way back to our villa. Rest and relax.. (Oh, the rest were mostly sleeping, watching tv during the day when Jo and I were out. ;p).

We had dinner at a restaurant near our villa. Not worth mentioning... it was expensive and pathetic.. haha.. Then we head straight to airport for our 12.30am (24 Dec) flight. We prepared 30 000 rupiah instead of 150 000 rupiah for our departure tax. So we all had to combine our remaining funds! haha.. lucky enuff.. thanks to Cint.. ;p

24 Dec 08:
Home sweet home!
I can't wait for the next trip with this bunch! seriously can't wait!
