So bored... waiting for my dwld on photoscape to finish. Most of us were oredi in the holiday mood. haha.. went for a short ktv session just now.
Had an early CNY gathering last Sat with the old hw peeps @ Jo's place. Fun eating steamboat, singing karaoke & celebrating Aza and Ah Yao's early bday. Should have this more often!!!
Met Yana, Yanie, Ariff & Ahmad for dinner last nite. It was a great chit chat session. Mostly suan-ning..teasing.. haha... and I really didn't realise i say thciou.. or whatever it's spelt by Ariff.. I can't wait for our 1 day trip! hehe..

Cleaned the house before I left for Cint's house. FYI, my family were not around from 10 to 20 Dec.. The only peeps at home were Kak Nita and myself.. I seriously missed mum and her food! For Kak Linda, she will never let Alyssa go on a long hols without her. For me, I will never let my mum go on a hols without me! I think i lose a tiny bit of fat without dinners at home.. haha...
Anyways, enuff blabbering.. I reached Cint's place @ 12am.. Thanks Cint for fetching me at AMK. ;p

Cint was still packing her clothes.. haha.. from a small to a big luggage. haha.. Despite her big luggage, she has everything we need for a trip! luv her for that! ;p
Slept for prob 1 hour plus before leaving for the airport. Met the rest there...
I still remember Jo told me that the boys were scared that I would forget the air tickets. How cruel can they be? No trust... Boo hoo...
Had 2 breakfast that morning as we didn't noe Lion Air would provide breakfast.. haha...
Upon arrival @ Denpasar, we had lunch as Alam Puri Villa forgot to fetch us.. haiz.. No point waiting for about an hour without food rite...
But the driver did show an apologetic look, so I decided not to ruin our day.. hahaz... The gals took the master bedroom and we had a short break before we were off for our white water rafting..
It was fun! Took lotsa photos.. I was in the same team as Jo and Shuan. For Vic, it is not as exciting as Perak's water rafting we did years back.. For me, it is as enjoyable!
Thanks to Shuan's cam (waterproof and sturdy), we were able to take photos during our water rafting breaks! Nice scenery, waterfalls! I luv them. Our guides were great.. altho I think they are a bit open.. I think Jo and Cint noes what I mean. Haha...
I think our rafting distance is abt 10km? We managed to clean up since they have clean and decent bathrooms. We ate our early dinner (inclusive of package). Think it was abt 4 or 5 plus.. We then had to climb up all the way to the carpark! After dinner, then climb up.. definitely a gd exercise and shows how unfit I am!
I was unwell on the way back probably bcoz of the climb with a full stomach! And the journey back was a bit long ah.. I had to hold on to Vic to stable myself.. and thanks to Cint for massaging my head and the rest for their concern. Half hour later, I was back to normal! ;p
Watched a movie @ the gals' room. Slept @ ard 9pm.

Rise and Shine @ 1.30am. Off to Mt Batur @ 2pm. Slept during the journey. Think it took abt 2hours. Cold and hungry for some! haha.. The journey started well with my good shoes (at least for me), a jacket, and a torch light and enthusiasm. For the first 1 hr walk, I tot that the journey was simple.. I can do this kinda trekking often. I was super wrong la...
No prob (self motivate..)..climb high.. higher.. and puffing.. puffing.. shit! I couldn't take it anymore. I tot "when are we reaching???" Madness... The girls had to be dragged up by the guides! But I am glad that I managed to climb up (with the help of others ;p). The view was magnificent. No regrets.. but I think I will never climb this mountain again. haha... and the guys were thinking of climbing higher ones! I must keep fit le..
Had breakfast while admiring the scenery. When the sun was up, we were amazed how far we walked and climbed up! We had a look @ the crater with steam rising up from it and we head down. Going down was my favourite! haha.. it was easy for me.. not sure y tho. ;p
Oh ya.. forgot to mention.. during the change of this season.. there are a lot of flies.. so those who were wearing black had a battalion of flies around them during the journey down. When we reach the carpark, we realised our car(black colour!) were "infested" with these flies! Ergh... it send a chill up my spine! But once we drive out of the area, the flies were gone..
Next stop, Hot spring.. Yeay! Shiok eh.. Soaked ourselves after a tiring morning.. Altho it was a long morning for us, it was only 10am when we reach the hot spring. Had a dip and massage.. the entry includes free set meal.. so we had our first lunch there.
Then we head to our second lunch which was included in our package with the agent. We really felt that our money was worth spent for this activity! Our lunch was at the top of a mountain i think.. cold~~ but nice place.. Food wasn't fantastic but i think its probably bcoz we were oredi full from the first lunch.
Slept during journey back to villa. Rested a while @ the villa (Cint and I had fun @ our plunge pool!) and went to Ubud Central around 7pm for dinner. We should have left earlier! We only managed to eat dinner and rush to our picking point for free shuttle to villa..
Dinner was at Wayan Restaurant.. Nice ambience, nice food, nice drink! ;p

Had breakfast before we head to Kuta. We felt that our guide who brought us around during Mt Batur trek was great, so we engaged him to bring us to Kuta. Gede's his name.. Gede brought us to Kuta beach. Not fantastic to me.. Due to change of season again, there were dead fish.. lotsa dead fish along the beach. It was low tide then. We even had the crazy idea of bringing a few back to cook.. haha.. Went to check out hard rock. Nothing much.. so we went to check out the shops on the way to the Bali Bombing Monument. The gals separate ways with the guys.. different agendas.. haha.. Gals intention were to shop but there was nothing much to get.. we had a foot reflexology instead.. Yesterday's wasn't enuff! And this is even cheaper!
Jo bought some dvds.. ard $1 per dvd for our entertainment during the rest of the trip. After a tiring morning, we head back to the villa to pick up our take-away lunch and off to Candidasa! Had lunch in the car.. my seafood platter was pathetic ah!
The next villa we stayed was Villa Sasoon @ Candidasa. The villa is really really nice! The staff are also very very nice! The manager, Andre, went through details of our villa and prepared welcome drink. So nice... Anyway the 4 villas(each with 2 bedrooms, and outdoor showers!) are owned by an Australian. 11 Staff. Villa - nice deco, and well kept.. We had instant noodles (thanks Tat and Cint) for dinner and watched Space Chimps (courtesy of Jo).

Woke up early. Checked out the beach with Vic. Had breakfast by the pool before our snorkelling activity @ Blue Lagoon. Great time snorkelling. I will always remember the time after our snorkel.. I need the toilet urgently and they had to stop the boat for me to pee in the sea! haha.. lucky it's our own glass bottom boat! Cindy, Shuan and tat joined me.. I wasn't the only urgent 1! We had lunch @ Kerti Restaurant in Padang Bay. Nice food! And cheap! ;p
Walked around the area and head back to villa. Jo, Cint, Shuan and I had a dip @ the pool.. Freshened up and had a great dinner in the villa! The staff cooked in our kitchen. We were famished.. the smell was good.. I really like the tomato soup! Yummy! The rest of the food was fantastic too! We had a birthday celebration for me and Vic. haha.. altho the cake was a surprise by the staff.. so touched... And I will always remember how crappy the guys can be.. their conversation abt annual sacrifice and all.. haha..

All of us (except Tat) went for a hike @ a nearby hill around 6.30am. One of the staff brought us there. Watched the sun rise.. breathtaking view.. the sea.. the view from the top of the hill.. Lotsa monkeys and a few cows around.. Going down was an adventure! Zig zag.. zig zag.. walked through the village. Had breakfast and a dip in the pool again. This time round with Vic and Cint. Went for a body massage with Jo. Apparently it's Andre's spa. He gave us 10% disc. haha.. Andre's bro dropped Jo and I at a stall by the roadside.. Cheap and nice food. We walked all the way back to our villa. Rest and relax.. (Oh, the rest were mostly sleeping, watching tv during the day when Jo and I were out. ;p).
We had dinner at a restaurant near our villa. Not worth mentioning... it was expensive and pathetic.. haha.. Then we head straight to airport for our 12.30am (24 Dec) flight. We prepared 30 000 rupiah instead of 150 000 rupiah for our departure tax. So we all had to combine our remaining funds! haha.. lucky enuff.. thanks to Cint.. ;p

Happy Birthday Singapore!
See how early I woke up just to wish Happy National Day to u peeps. Anyhoos, it's the headache that woke me up. lol..
Went to check out the polyclinic webby whether it opens on public holidays. Guess not.. Haiz..
I attended an eye talk by SNEC @ my workplace recently. Hearing all the real stuff freaks me out. You will never really know whether your eyes are actually in good condition as it seems.
I need to check out my eyes too. For those who have nvr been for an eye check up, pls do. You're not actually checking your eyes by going to the specs shop ya! Go to an eye clinic! Advised to go once every 2 years!
Went to watch the Dark Knight with Jo and Ong last Sat. HAHA.. thanks to Ong for arranging this gathering. Had dinner at Breeks.. Jo mentioned that she saw a new book by my fav author out. We head straight to MPH and I searched for it. At that pt, I can't remember the author's name and my phone batt died on me! So, no lifeline (Yana). I was kinda sad coz I couldn't find it and I dun really wanna ask the salesgirl. But then, tadaa... it was just beside the entrance! Felt like an idiot.. There it was..Breaking Dawn.. the last book to the end of The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer! Without any hesitation, I chose the nicest book (pls, I'm not the only one who do that) and head to the counter.
I just finished it on Wed nite. Erm.. not as exciting as the prev books but I like the ending! Will not write more on it else Yana will kill me.. haha.. She's still reading it. Not sure whether she's finished it tho..

Well, since I can't sleep.. I went to bighugelabs to do this:

I'm quite settled at my new work place. Great colleagues to work with! I've also joined Pilates. Yesh.. u saw it correctly. Pilates every Monday evening. Working out my stomach muscles! haha.. hurts eh.. ;p
I still wanna join a fitness centre. Perhaps fitness first? They have a new branch near my workplace. Kak Linda! How? Amacam? Got check it out anot? I've growing fatter by the day! There's always food around here!
Anyway, Alyssa is more than 2 years now. She still can't remember my name.. just call me "auntie! auntie!" She broke a record of keeping pets! Kept 6 fish (dunno the name) for 2 days. All dead bcos her Opah nvr buy fish food and experimented by feeding bread and salty biscuits! I should educate them on keeping pets man! Or threaten them to report to SPCA.. altho i dun think SPCA is concern abt fishes.
Talking abt pets.. it reminds me abt the ads on saving Gaia.. frankly speaking.. I'm not doing much in saving the earth. I still keep printing lotsa papers @ work! I need some wake-up call! haha.. But seriously.. are you people doing something abt it? Some self-reflection to be done i guess.. hehe
I've started my semester in school. Only 1 module this sem. I dun think I will be talking to pple much in school. I hope I can stay focus this year. Gambate!
Anyhoo.. did u pple watch the korean drama - The Legend? OMG! A must watch ya! Really good. Bae Yong Jun is cool!

I'm in CSC for almost a mth. Nice pple, nice environment. I do miss my colleagues in STC tho. I can't wait to really start work when my programmes that i'm tasked to do start kicking in. haha.. now still honeymoon period.

Hi peeps,
Really have no time to blog for the past month. I know I should be posting about Yanie's farewell, 3 days with Jo!, my birthday surprise, dinner with my teachers, Aza's bday, etc. I will do it soon.
I'm still in school. Just finished the ppt presentation for my NYAA/EFL CMC girls tomorrow morning. I'm so tired. I didn't even go to school as I know I will not be able to finish my ppt in time. And I have to wake up early to print the notes and train the girls. My PE teachers are all busy. So I should do it! I can do it! Jia you!
Just resting for a while. Hungry. Tired. Sad. Feel like crying. Was browsing my buddies blogs for a while. I miss Yanie so much. We usually meet up often when she's in Singapore.
Now everyone's busy with their own life. I should start mugging for my exams soon. Will start seriously after my CNY trip to KL. I hope I can just enjoy the trip and forget about my work and studies when I'm there.

It has been a year plus since I left HW. Time flies so fast.
I miss my friends, my volunteers, my colleagues, and my work.
I'm grateful that we still keep in touch altho we are not in the organisation anymore.
Dec month has always been a hectic but fun month for me. I still remember the years I spent during Christmas @ work. I remember the Christmas songs (not forgetting the V song!), ice-skating rink, volunteers.
Being @ the bbq with my buddies last week really reminds me of us during those Dec events: the late nights, the sleep-overs, the movies, celebrating the dec babies' birthdays.
Us, as crappie as ever.. altho we are in different lines now.
Am I doing what I like to do now? I love the people, the environment, the work, but I don't know why I feel different now. Like I'm missing something. I feel it's happening again. It's like back to a year plus ago.

Saturday flies so fast.. now it's SUNDAY.. and i'm down with flu and sore throat. It's gonna get worse since I just ate my mum's nasi briyani ikan. You saw it rite.. ikan.. fish.. I never seen the ikan's version before. But anyway, kudos to mum..It's YUMMY!
Yesterday:
Had a focus group meeting @ IP but i managed to watch a bit of 'Artis Masuk Desa'. Weekends are actually their repeat telecast. hengz ah.. haha..
Anyway, back to FGD. Had a fruitful discussion and a hearty laughing session too! Pizza from Pizza De France for lunch. Nicer than Canadian Pizza. Try it if you don't believe. ;p
After FGD, I was supposed to run errands for Jojo but ended with only window shopping with Yo and Mel. Thank gals! Met Moko and Vicky at Dhoby Ghaut platform and guess what they were doing? Playing PSP! Vicky just bought it yesterday.. They kept tempting me to buy.. ergghh..
Waited for Jojo @ Heartland Mall for a quite a while..(quite long ah).. haha.. cannot blame her since she was working. Accompanied her for her last minute christmas shopping while the boys continued with their games.
Ong fetched us and the moment we stepped into her car.. the chaos started.. We were so noisy. Vicky and Ong practically shouted at each other. I realised that's the way our gang talk to each other. haha.. Met APAH and Steve @ Ong's place. They oredi started with the bbq.
Jojo and me just eat and eat and eat. Never help to cook. haha... Cint and bf came too. That's when the bullying target shifted to her.. She and her mum joke! Shuan came so late lar.. Our GOH like dat. haha..
There was a surprise celebration for Vicky, Steve and me. It was indeed a surprise for me cos Apah, Jojo and Ong was whispering.. don't want to tell the 3rd daughter anything.. I knew it was a surprise birthday but I tot it was for Vicky!
Should see MK's video.. haha..
As usual the cake.. was something to use for sabo-ing. Thanks to Vicky, my face.. actually my hair and ears too became the target. I can't even breathe.. Thanks hor Vicky! ish... So rough! haha..
But Cint helped me clean up. thanks!

I had a bath straight after I put my bag down.. Pheww.. What a day!
Overall, I had fun! really lotsa fun with my buddies and Apah!
Must save $ for July plans... as planned with Jojo, Apah & Cint! ;p

So, they bought the combo and then the guy at the counter passed Massie the frame..

"The plush toy will only be in next week. You'll only be able to get it when you purchase a combo next week."

Watched 'Artis Masuk Desa'. Watched Korean drama in the afternoon. Talked to Jojo on the phone. She was whining and whining about her weekend.. haha..
Did not went for the movie 'Enchanted' as per planned with my frens. No mood..no mood..
So I watched 'Prince Hours' in Channel U.

Watched 'Artis Masuk Desa'. Did my work while watching the following shows: Japan Hour, Stairways to Heaven, some stupid chinese show.., Prince Hours. Yes Jojo! I watched tv the whole day.. BUT .. at least I did my work while watching..
I told you I am a Korean drama addict. Even my dad cannot say anything about my attitude..
Told you I had a bad day last Friday rite.. yup, I broke down in the train in front of other commuters on my way home after dinner. How embarassing is that?
But I'm glad Mel, Eka, Yoyo, and Salsa met me for dinner. They brightened my night. Without them, I could have cried worst.. haha.. Love ya peeps!
